A ply-down assembly for a tire-building machine comprises a metallic L-type ring (29) having a leg extended in the direction of a shaft, a plastic ring having an extended surface combined with the leg, a spring finger fixed into the leg and a fingersupporting device. The plastic ring is fixed onto the metallic ring and is equipped so that it can be changed. One of the rings is made from a polyurethane electric body having a durometer hardness of 85-90. |
