PURPOSE:To simplify the engine sustaining structure without reducing the hull constructive strength, by forming a part of inner board of engine room double bottom, with a main engine sustaining board which inclines downward, toward the outside, and setting the engine through a liner whose under surface inclines in the same way as the main engine sustaining board, and whose upper surface is horizontal. CONSTITUTION:A part of inner board 1 of engine room double bottom is formed of a main engine sustaining board 10, which is thick and sustains the weight of the engine 6. This main engine sustaining board 10 is formed as it's upper surface inclines downward, from a center line of a hull toward the outside. A liner 11, whose under surface inclines in the same way as the upper surface of the main engine sustaining board 10, and upper surface is horizontal, is set on the upper surface of the main engine sustaining board 10. The main engine is set as it's height is adjusted by the inclined plane where the main engine sustaining board 10 and the liner 11 are engaged with each other. In this way, it is not necessary to form such as a special main engine bed plate, and the main engine sustaining structure can be simplified without reducing the hull constructive strength.
