<p>PURPOSE:To prevent sheets of already-processed paper from being irregularly assembled due to static electricity, by dividing the paper discharge roller and pinch roller of an automatic paper feeder into plural rollers in the axial direction, respectively, to reduce the pushing force between the paper discharge roller and the pinch roller to neatly stack the sheets of already- processed paper in a stocker. CONSTITUTION:An automatic paper feeder comprises a paper holding section 17 for supplying plural sheets of paper 16a one by one to a business machine A while holding the sheets of paper in a stacked state, and a stocker section 28 in which the paper 16b subjected to a prescribed processing in the business machine A is pinched between a paper discharge rollers 29 divided into plural portions in the axial direction and a pinch roller 30 divided into plural portions in the axial direction and placed in contact with the peripheral surfaces of the divided portions of the paper discharge roller 29, and is moved upwards by the rotation of the paper discharge roller so that the sheets of paper are stacked and held in a stocker 31. The automatic paper feeder further comprises an electricity elimination brush 32 which is elastic and whose tip is located between the peripheral surface of the paper discharge roller 29 and the axis thereof. The electricity elimination brush 32 is placed in contact with the surface of the already-processed paper 16 to remove electricity therefrom to surely stack and hold the sheets of paper in the stocker 31.</p> |
