PURPOSE:To reduce characteristic frequency in a vibration system consisting of a brake shoe and a brake band as well as to render its resonance hard to occur, by installing plural pieces of projection bodies in the outer circumference and increasing a constant of mass. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of projection parts 12 and recessed parts 12' are alternately installed in the outer circumference of a brake band 11 to be locked to a brake shoe 10, while a constant of mass is increased but characteristic frequency is decreased. Accordingly, characteristic frequency in a vibration system consisting of the brake band 11 and the brake shoe 10 is small enough, rendering it hard to resonate, thus generation of braking noise comes to almost nothing there. In addition, a degree of ridigity in the brake band 11 is keepable as good as excellent as in the conventional product owing to the presence of these recessed parts 12' and, what is more, there is no reduction in braking force at all. |
