PURPOSE:To improve the yield of dust coal by circulating slurry water containing said dust coal and repeatedly loading it in a hold and recovering part of said dust coal contained in said slurry water, into shipment in said hold. CONSTITUTION:A mixing device 1 produces a coal slurry of an appropriate concentration by mixing powdered coal, water, and slurry water containing dust coal. Defined quantities of coal, slurry water containing dust coal are fed into the device 1 from a coal feeding device 2, a water feeding device 3, and a slurry water feeding device 5 respectively. Coal slurry produced by the device 1 is loaded into holds 12, 22, through a loading pipe 6, while slurry water containing dust slurry, which is separated from the coal slurry loaded in said holds, is returned to a slurry water tank 4 through a slurry water return pipe 7. And, further, dust coal is recovered from part of the slurry water containing dust coal, which is returned into the tank 4, by means of a dust coal recovering device 8. Thereby, the yield of dust coal being transported by a ship can be improved. |
