PURPOSE:To attain excellent linearity, miniaturization and thin profile by clipping and holding a disphragm with two same shaped support members in place of conventional speaker edge and damper. CONSTITUTION:The support members 10 where plural wave shapes or wedge shapes are formed to both inner and outer side faces as bellows ring structure are used in place of conventional speaker damper 6 and edge 9, and the two members are placed so as to clip a flat diaphragm 8. When the flat diaphragm 8 is moved vertically, the two support members 10 are expanded and contracted vertically. Since this expansion and contration is excellent when the flat diaphragm 8 is vibrated at a large amplitude at a low output sound pressure frequency charactericstic, excellent linearity is obtained. Since the structure of the speaker is different from a conventional speaker where the edge 9 is placed at the outer side of the entire circumference of the diaphragm 8 by using the member 10, the speaker is miniaturized and the thickness of fram is made thin in comparison with the speaker using the damper 6 and edge 9. |
