发明名称 LOW-HYDROGEN, LOW-NITROGEN AND LOW-OXYGEN FLUX FOR WELDING
摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a flux which permits welding with good beads without defects and has titled characteristics by forming the flux in such a way that the four components having prescribed ratios occupy the specific ratio of the entire amt. excluding the CO2 component and have the specific basicity including CaF2 and specifying further the basicity of the dissolved matter under prescribed cooling conditions at a specific limit. CONSTITUTION:A flux is so formed that the total of 10-60% CaO, <=30% MgO, 20-70% Al2O3 and 15-40% SiO2 occupies <=35% of the flux excluding the CO2 component and that a solvent CaF is incorporated therein at 25-65% to have >=0.1 basicity expressed by the formula I . Such flux is further dissolved and is made into dissolved matter and non-dissolved matter by air cooling, quick cooling or water cooling so that the basicity of the dissolved matter expressed by the formula I is made >=3 or <=3 or <=2.7. The flux contains low oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen and improves weld beads thus assuring defectless welding.
