A harrow has a main frame incorporating elongate horizontal frame members 3 of square or oblong cross-section on which tines 4 are clamped by means permitting the working attitude of the tines to be adjusted. The clamping means comprises a clamping bow 20 having one end in the form of an eye through which extends an attachment end portion of the tine 4 and having its other end screw-threaded and extending through an aperture in the attachment end portion and carrying a nut for tightening the bow on to the frame member 3. Between the frame member and the attachment end portion is disposed a seating member 21 formed with notches 7', 6', 8'' and 7'' and supporting surfaces 8' and 6''. By releasing the clamping bow and engaging corners 3' and 3'' of the frame member variously in the notches, and re-tightening the clamping bow, the working attitude of the tine can be altered. In an alternative construction the notches are provided in the clamping bow. <IMAGE> |
