PURPOSE:To prepare an article suitable for the shape of a work easily and rapidly by pushing the work heated over the melting point of the alloy which has a low melting point and constitutes the work receiving device of a chuck, onto the working-portion part of the work receiving material. CONSTITUTION:A chuck itself is held, upwardly keeping the working-portion parts 1a of a plurality of work receiving material 1 installed at a prescribed position of the body 3 of the chuck. A work 2 heatedover the melting point of the alloy constituting the material 1 is pushed onto the part 1a of the material 1. Through this process, the alloy in the part 1a is molten and flows, and forms a work receiving device corresponding to the outer shape of the work 1. After cooling, an auxiliary covering member 8 is removed. Through this method, even if the work as the object in holding has a complicated three-dimensional shape, a work receiving device can be prepared precisely, easily, and rapidly. |
