PURPOSE:To carry out the timing control of fuel injection with a high degree of accuracy, by providing, in an electronic control means, an actual ignition timing detection means for setting the level of detection in accordance with the level of a signal from an ignition sensor and for detecting an actual ignition timing. CONSTITUTION:There are included an ignition sensor I among operating condition detectors II for detecting operating conditions of an engine. An electronic control means III delivers a drive signal to a fuel injection timing regulating means IV to make an actual injection timing coincident with a desired ignition timing. An electronic control means III is provided with an actual ignition timing detection means V for setting the level of detection in accordance with the level of a signal from the ignition sensor I and for detecting an actual ignition timing in a combustion chamber. With this arrangement it is possible to precisely detect an actual ignition timing so that a precise fuel injection control may be made. |
