PURPOSE:To minimize water consumption through cyclic use of water by obtaining a compact structure in wet-type exhaust gas treating equipment in which water in use is vaporized into steam that is introduced into cooling equipment in order to bring it back into water and then chemicals are dissolved into thus returned water. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas is introduced into cylindrical rotary filter elements 11 and 11' in order to treat the gas by means of water-soluble chemicals which are applied to a filter part. Heat treating equipment 21 makes the treated dust- collecting solution, which is situated at the lower part of the exhaust gas treating equipment, vaporize into steam. And water produced through this vaporization is used for dissolved the chemicals. Cooling equipment 18 is used to bring the steam back into water. And as the quantity of the water increases, a cooling cylinder 29 rotates, taking a supporting lever 30 as a fulcrum, thereby shifting the water to a tank 41. For water supply, an automatic water supplying equipment 43 opens its valve by means of wind pressure only when the exhaust gas is introduced for treatment. |
