<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate noise on a reproduction picture plane by using two rotary magnetic heads which have the same head gap tilt and reproducing one recording track repeatedly during still picture reproduction. CONSTITUTION:When a start signal (a) for still picture reproduction is applied, a circuit 6 is turned off and a circuit 11 is turned on. A motor low-speed driving signal is therefore applied as a signal (c) to a circuit 7 and a magnetic tape is switched to a low-speed run. A circuit 21 is off during normal reproduction and turned on by the application of the signal (a); and its output is inputted to a level discrimination circuit 19 and a signal (s) is outputted when the voltage level of an output (j) rises above a specific level, integrated by a circuit 20, and inputted to a circuit 12 as a signal (t). When the output (t) is above the specific level, the circuit 13 is turned off with an output (k) and a capstan motor 8 stops. When the magnetic tape is run at a low speed in a reproduction state and scanning track of magnetic heads A1 and A2 shift regularly in order. Therefore, an optimum still picture is obtained by stopping the tape run when the playback signal level does not drop.</p> |
