PURPOSE:To facilitate the recording position control and heat generation control of recording information at every color, by mounting a heat generation control means for selectively generating heat from heat generators and recording a recording medium according to recording information, a color forming means and a moving means. CONSTITUTION:Heat generation heads 2 comprising heat generators arranged in a linear form are allowed to generate heat according to recording information at every color section of a thermal transfer ink ribbon wherein different picture elements (three colors) are successively arranged so as to provided definite distances between thermaly transferrable color sections and heat-sensitive inks are transferred to a recording medium to perform the recording of an image. In this case, the reading of recording information from video RAM12 storing the recording information is performed according to the read information from one ROM storing control process of the output control of an address, the heat generation region control of the heat generating region group and the selective reading control of recording color information in the heat generating region group. |
