PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of gas to be treated by means of an attenuation pipe by guiding a low pressure turbine gland clear exhaust gas sealed by means of clean steam to a flue, while bypassing the attenuation pipe. CONSTITUTION:Gland exhaust gas from a high pressure turbine 1 is guided into a gland steam condenser 5 and the exhaust gas, after condensed therein, is fed to an attenuation pipe 7 by means of a fan 6. In addition, the exhaust gas, after radioactivity thereof is well attenuated, is introduced into a flue 9 and treated therein. While, since gland exhaust gas from a low pressure turbine 2 has no radioactivity, a steam thereof is condensed in an exclusive gland exhaust gas condenser 10, and thereafter the gland exhaust gas is allowed to pass through a gland exhaust gas pipe 12 by means of a fan 11 and treated in the flue. Accordingly, the amount of gas to be treated by the attenuation pipe is reduced to decrease a volume of the attenuation pipe, while permitting attenuation time available in the attenuation pipe to be sufficiently assured. |
