摘要 |
<p>PURPOSE:To produce compressed air by utilizing a weight tank and a float to operate a compressor through the function of gravity and buoyancy. CONSTITUTION:An accumulator 15 is installed on a platform 2 arranged on the ocean. While an air feed pipe 8a communicating with a compressor chamber 10 supported on the bottom of sea B is provided on the platform 2. A weight tank 1 arranged above the surface of the sea A and a float chamber 4 arranged below the surface of sea are supported integrally through a supporting member 3. The integrated member is guided movably up and down around said pipe 8a. Compresed air is fed into the float chamber 4 to remove the sea water thus to increase the buoyancy and float. Then a valve 23 is opened to vent the air thus to lower through the gravity of the weight tank 1. Said operations are repeated to operate a piston 9 through a push rod 8b. It is replaced with the atmospheric air through the function of valve 13 to store the compressed air in the accumulator 15.</p> |
