PURPOSE:To reduce the part of a magnetic bubble element which varies with a rotating magnetic field and reduce the occupation area of a detector greatly by constituting the magnetic bubble element by using a detector with a nearly rectangular magnetic thin film projected at a specific angle from at least one terminal of a nearly rectangular magnetic thin film. CONSTITUTION:A figure shows the basic constitution of the detector of the magnetic bubble element; 1 indicates the direction of a current and when there is a magnetic bubble near a rectangular ''Permally'' part 2 which is 2mum wide and 100mum long, a magnetic field produced by it changes the magnetism direction of the rectangular part 2 to cause variation in resistance. Another rectangular ''Permally'' part 3 is provided at the specific angle alpha at an end of the rectangular part 2 so as to cancel the influence of the rotating magnetic field. In this case, the area of the rectangular part 3 is 0.5-2 times as large as the area of the rectangular part 2 and the angle alpha is 60-120 deg. to eliminate the influence of the rotating magnetic field until there is no problem in practical use. Consequently, the ratio of the area of the detector to the area of the magnetic bubble chip area is decreased. |
