PURPOSE:To obtain excellent color tone which is not disturbed by the color of a magnetic body even when heat fixation is performed by coating the surface of a core particle which is not fused at the heat fixation temperature of toner and contains magnetic particles or has a coating layer of magnetic particles successively with a shield layer and a colored layer successively. CONSTITUTION:The toner consists of a mixture of the core particle 2 which is not fused at the heat fixation temperature of the toner and contains magnetic particles or has the coating layer 3 of magnetic particles, the shield layer 4 which is made of a mixture of fine polymer particles and white pigment and covers surfaces particles 2 and 2', and the colored layer 5 which is made of a mixture of fine polymer particles and a coloring layer and covers the surface of the shield layer 4. For the purpose, said core particles 2 and 2' and white pigment are dispersed in a fine polymer dispersed solution, and sprayed and dried above the glass dislocation point of the polymer particles to form the shield layer 4 consisting of the polymer and white pigment mixture; and the colored layer 5 is also formed of the polymer and coloring agent mixture by the same method. Development and fixation are performed by ujsing this toner to obtain a sharp color image with unevenness on the surface wherein no magnetic particles is mixed. |
