The invention relates to a multiple-use generalised muscle-development and functional re-education apparatus which can be converted during training in order to replace 32 apparatuses, accessories or devices which are usually used in physical-training rooms but which are combined in a single unit which is compact and relatively inexpensive. The entirely dismantleable apparatus comprises modules and a chassis with multiple combinations, with variable spacing, which can be set to the desired height in terms of deployment, angle and resistance, and which can be adjusted via a telescopic system and integral automatic triggers, in such a manner that it adapts perfectly to any user. Applications: the apparatus henceforth makes it possible to train at home, just like in the best-equipped sports hall, and it is aimed generally at individuals located far from urban centres: athletes, physically handicapped persons, women and children, but also at beaches, hotels, boats, caravans, private clubs, competition preparation and basic training for all sports. <IMAGE>
