PURPOSE:To obtain catalyst excellent in heat resistance and having long life, by supporting platinum, palladium or rhodium by a sintered carrier containing titanium oxide and calcium aluminate. CONSTITUTION:5-80wt% of titanium oxide, 20-50wt% of calcium aluminate and water are mixed and molded while the obtained molded composition is sintered at 800-1,400 deg.C to obtain a carrier. A catalytic component such as platinum, palladium, rhodium or indium is supported by said carrier. |
