PURPOSE:To manufacture a transformer readily and to prevent the decrease in magnetic characteristics due to hardening contraction, by cutting one part of a wound core comprising thin band of amorphous magnetic alloy, opening the cut part, and mounting windings. CONSTITUTION:Thin band 1 of amorphous magnetic alloy is continuously wound around a spool, and a wound core 2 is formed. The core is cut from the outer surface side to the inner surface side along the laminated direction. Under the state, cut end parts 2a and 2a of the wound core 2 are fixed by fixing tool, synthetic resin 6 is applied or impregnated and dried. With the leg part being deflected outward, the cut end parts 2a and 2a are opened. Under this state, windings 7 and 7 are coupled to both leg parts of the wound core 2. Bonding agent is applied to the end surfaces of the cut end parts 2a and 2a. The end parts are butted and tightened by bolts 9 and 9. They are rigidly tightened through metal pieces 8 and 8, bonded and fixed. In assembling, a reinforcing plate 10 comprising non-magnetic metal is provided on the inner surface part of the wound core 2. |
