The invention relates to electrical heating films or fabrics, used for making suspended ceilings, of the type comprising a flat resistance element supplied by lateral electrodes. The invention consists in reducing their bending strength by carrying out transverse cuttings which are evenly spaced apart, without however affecting the electrodes 5, 6. The heating areas 8 are kept in close contact with the ceiling boards by means of low-pressure clamps 16 placed on the lateral non-heating parts 11 passing over the sections of the frame or of the transverse supports 14.
