The present invention relates to a grid tube, including a metal screen fixed to a pyrolytic graphite grid. The screen 7 is a hollow part, of substantially semi-toric cross-section, which surrounds the grid 2. Openings 8 are made in the grid in the region of its periphery which is covered by the screen. A substantially toric spring 9, made of metal wire, is housed inside the screen and is locked in the region of the openings in the grid.
