PURPOSE:To provide a resin composition having remarkably improved melt moldability and excellent heat resistance and mechanical characteristics, by compounding an all-aromatic polyester amide with an aromatic polyether sulfone. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.(wt.) of an aromatic polyester amide having the ester unit and amide unit composed of an aromatic hydroxylamino compound and aromatic dihydroxy compound or aromatic dicarboxylic acid as the recurring units, is compounded with (B) 10-400pts. of an aromatic polyether sulfone. The component A is a polymer having a logarithmic viscosity of >=0.3, preferably >=0.4 (measured in cyclohexane at 30 deg.C and a polymer concentration of 0.5g/dl) and derived from 2,2-(4'-hydroxy-4''-aminodiphenyl)propane, etc. 2,2-bis(4'-hydroxyphenyl)propane, etc., and terephthaloyl dichloride, etc.
