PURPOSE:To provide an energization heat transfer sheet which facilitates the detection of the conveyance or the proximity of the final end thereof by forming a part partially exposing the substrate at the side rim which is unnecessary for printing of an electrical resistance layer formed on one side of the insulating substrate. CONSTITUTION:In an energized heat transfer sheet 1 comprising a hot melting ink layer 2 formed on one surface of an insulating substrate 3 and an electrical resistance layer 4 formed on the other surface thereof, a part exposing the substrate 3 is formed at a portion in noway affecting print at the side rim thereof. For example, a part to expose the substrate 3 at a fixed interval is formed at one side rim 4-b of the sheet 1 and an electrode 8 is brought into contact with the side rim 4-b to detect the conveyance of the sheet 1. A part exposing the substrate 3 is formed near the final end of the other side rim 4-c to detect the proximity thereof with an electrode 9. Otherwise, the pattern of the exposed part is changed in various ways to enable the detection of type of ink color. |
