The turbine-generator set together with its holder is suspended vertically in a lifting unit, and then guided to a position when the guide prevents further lowering. When the lifting unit is released, the set turns around an articulation, and finally comes to locate against a diffusor connection, which constitutes its operating position. - In this position, the force of gravity together with water pressure maintains the set in its location without the need for further fixtures. For servicing, the set is rotated around the articulation, and then raised vertically. The guide comprises rails, and the turbine-generator set is supported by a holder which has guide components running in the rails. |
