PURPOSE:To diversify interrogation contents, and to expand an applied range of a device by applying frequency or phase modulation to an interrogation radio wave from an interrogator, and also varying modulation contents of the response radio wave in accordance with modulation contents of this interrogation radio wave. CONSTITUTION:A transmitter 1 and a receiver 2 connected to antennas 3, 5 respectively are provided on an interrogator side, and an interrogation contents generator 11 is connected to the transmitter 1 through a frequency modulator 10. Also, an amplitude modulator 7 connected to antennas 4, 6, a frequency discriminator 9 connected to the antenna 4 and the modulator 7, and an information generator 8 connected to the modulator 7 and the discriminator 9 are provided on a responsor side. The interrogation contents from the generator 11 of this interrogator side are applied with frequency modulation by the modulator 10 and sent out to the responsor side. This interrogation contents are detected by the discriminator 9, added to the information generator 8, and in accordance with its fetched interrogation contents, information is taken from the information generator 8, the amplitude modulation of a response radio wave is executed by the modulator 7, and the interrogation contents are diversified by responding to the interrogator side. |
