PURPOSE:To constitute a system without degrading the execution performance of the system by providing an address memory as a means, which connects freely subroutines, independently of a normal address generating mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The first program instruction word 11 is selected from a program word, which is read out from an address A0 of a program control memory 10 to a register 20 in accordance with prescribed procedures, by a decoder 30 and controls a selecting circuit 50 for determination of the next address so that this circuit 50 selects an address memory 40. The next address is determined by the selecting circuit 50, and the next program word is read out from the control memory 10 by the next address stored in a program address register 60 and is stored in the register 20. Hereafter, until the first and the second program instruction words 11 and 12 appear, a next address generating circuit 70 is used as normal program control to determine the next address and programs are executed sequentially.
