<p>PURPOSE:To perform speedy, secure processing for key inputs by providing an interrupt controller, a timer, etc., and varying the interval of input from an input device in response to the speed of processing based upon input information. CONSTITUTION:The input device is initialized on power-on operation for character processing. Then, when a key buffer is cleared and a key on a keyboard 6 is pressed, its output is inputted to an interrupt controller Pic2, which outputs an interrupt request iNTR. Then, a CPU1 return an acknowledge signal ACK. In this case, the timer 7 sends an interrupt request to the Pic2 at specific intervals to perform key interrupt request processing or interrupt processing from the timer. Consequently, the interval of input from the input device is varied according to the speed of processing based upon the input information and the speedy, secure processing for key input is performed.</p> |
