FIRE ARRESTER PATH WITH MOISTURE BARRIER

The fire arrester path is layed in addition to conventional insulation and roof paths on a slope of a roof. It is intended to prevent the development of surface fires or at least to retard them. It must simultaneously form a moisture barrier. To this effect, it includes two plastic sheets surrounding an aluminum foil used as a carrier path. A glass fiber web with a certain crystalline bond water contents is laminated on a plastic sheet. In case of fire, water is vaporized. Water vapor resulting therefrom prevents or retards a surface fire or a break-through fire.
