PURPOSE:To obtain a clear picture at a low printing pressure by setting the lower edge of a squeegee at a sharp angle with the surface of a screen material in a proceeding direction and moving the squeegee on friction while ink is pushed by its lower edge during printing. CONSTITUTION:A supporting bar for squeegee is installed in a freely rocking manner centering around an axis along the longitudinal direction of said bar in a printer. During printing, the squeegee 1 is set at a sharp angle with the surface of a screen material M by making the lower edge of said squeegee face in its proceeding direction. Consequently, the squeegee 1 is caused to move on friction over the screen material M as the former pushes ink P by the edge 1A, so that a material to be printed W is printed. At the same time, a doctor 2 is caused to run to equalize the deflected shade of ink P. Thus it is possible to carry out clear printing without application of a strong printing pressure and obtain a printed picture of high dimensional accuracy because of the unnecessity to extend a screen material. |
