An apparatus is described for treating used emulsions, solutions and industrial effluents or the like which is suitable in particular, for use on ships, and is a compact plant having apparatus and functional components organised independently of each other, such as reaction vessels, settling tanks and receivers for liquid or settling sludge, which are simply connected by piping, and the settling tank being furnished in a particular manner with a circular cross-section and slatted bottom. |
