<p>A pneumatic tire has a ground surface formed with at least three zigzag grooves. The ratio (Hs/W) of the height (Hs) of that one (Ms) of the three zigzag grooves which is formed on the side of the tire closest to the shoulder region with respect to the tread width W is specified to be within 2 % to 4 %. Moreover, the ratio (Hc/W) of the height (Hc) of that one (Mc) of the three zigzag grooves which is formed in the tread center with respect to the tread width W is specified to be within 6 % and 10 %. This configuration improves the wet braking characteristics without shortening the working life of the pneumatic tire.</p> |
