DIRECT CURRENT MOTOR HAVING E-SHAPED INTERPOLES

In a direct current motor having E-shaped interpoles, each of the E-shaped interpoles (8 min ) includes interconnecting members (84, 85) which are made of a rigid non-magnetic material and which are tightly inserted and positively retained in gaps between a centre pole (81 min ) and side poles (82 min ,83 min ) of the E-shaped interpole. The side poles are thereby mechanically interconnected to the centre pole, so that noise generated by vibration of the side poles is greatly reduced.
