PURPOSE:To improve a resolution of an advance bearing, and to recognize the present advance bearing in a short time by superposing the advance bearing following a movement of an automobile, on road map information, and displaying it by a symbol or a character of several dots, on the picture end part of a display device. CONSTITUTION:Data from interfaces 36-39 connected to each absolute and relative sensor, a car speed sensor and an operating switch part, respectively, are inputted to a microprocessor (MPU)31 through an input/output control LSI34, an interface 40 connected to an external storage device is connected to a small- sized magnetic tape device controlling LSI(CMTC)35, and a video controller 53 connected to a display device is controlled by the MPU31 through an LSI(CRTC) 41 which is the core of a circuit part for transmitting various display data to a color CRT. In that case, the MPU31 and the CRTC41 are selected by a multiplexer 43 and graphic memories 44-46 and a character use character memory 47 are operated, and a data of a character generator 48 which has converted character information to a pattern and accumulated it is selected by the CRTC41 and the memory 47 and displayed. |
