In a circuit arrangement, for example for window lifters or for seat adjustments in motor vehicles, in which the setting of the component to be operated is monitored by a microprocessor, there is provision for the outlay in terms of lines to be reduced. For this, the voltage is not separately supplied to the signal generator but rather tapped off directly from the electric motor which serves to move the component.
