Braking device for photographic shutters

The invention relates to a braking device for photographic shutters which acts at the end of a respective opening operation and/or closing operation. The aim of the invention is a device which uses stops to avoid chatter vibrations occurring in each case at the end of the range of motion, and is simply constructed. It is the object of the invention to provide a braking device which acts at the end both of the respective opening operation and of the closing operation, and whose braking force is simple to adjust. According to the invention, the object is achieved when a single braking element which moves against a frictional force is used both to brake the motion for opening the shutter and to brake the motion for closing it.
