PURPOSE:To create comfortable condition in people in a room, especially in the people who are hit by warm-air directly, even under a large room heating load condition such as the starting time of room heating operation by a method wherein the blow-off angle of an air blow-off port is narrowed to send air locally under high-temperature air blow-off operation mode. CONSTITUTION:A four-way valve 2 is being switched into a direction to circulate refrigerant upon room heating operation and the refrigerant achieves room heating effect under absorbing heat in a heat source side heat exchanger 3 and releasing the heat in the utilizing side heat exchanger 4. Under the high-temperature air blow-off operation mode, the air direction deflecting plate 22 of side blow-off port is closed and only the same plate 21 for the lower surface blow-off port is opened, only the air A2 is blown off and the high-temperature warm-air arrives at a space I even under a condition that a room temperature is low, therefore, the people in this area are provided with comfortable feeling. When the room temperature is higher than a certain degree, a normal operation mode is effected and the airflow direction deflecting plate 22 of the side blow-off port is also opened under this mode, thus, the air is set so as to be blown off downward obliquely. Under this condition, the space II or the whole of the room becomes a comfortable space.
