<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a display device requiring no replacement of a pen with a joy stick, by performing the movement of a cursor and the conversion of the visual point of a picture plane with the pen in case of pattern input. CONSTITUTION:An AC magnetic field generating part 1 is provided with a joy stick mode part 34 and a reference coordinate point 35; and when a pen 2 is depressed onto the coordinate point 35, a processing part 6' recognizes this depression to report the joy stick mode to a display controller. The processing part 6' has a program which inputs error corrdinates due to the coordinate position of a detecting coil 4 to the display controller when the pen 2 is inclined on the coordinate point 35. Thus, in accordance with the direction of inclination and the angle of inclination of the pen 2, movement of the cursor and conversion of the visual point of the screen are performed similarly to operation of the joy stick. When the pen 2 is detached from the coordinate point 35, coordinates of the pen 2 are read out and are transmitted to the display controller.</p> |
