PURPOSE:To estimate the mill capacity or grinding power of a grinding machine with good accuracy, by using a substance to be ground obtained during the grinding of the substance to be ground by the grinding machine or a substance to be ground simulating this grinding state as a specimen. CONSTITUTION:In place of a substance X to be ground, before charged in a grinding machine, used as a sample in a conventional grindability test, a sub stance Y to be ground obtained during the grinding of the substance X to be ground by the grinding machine or a substance Y' to be ground simulating said grinding state (for example, by an apparatus or method prepared so as to simulate said grinding machine) is used and the other operation is performed in the same way as a conventionally performed method. Herein, as the substance Y to be ground, for example, one, taken out through the pipe introduced into the grinding machine during the grinding of the substance X to be ground by sucking, is used and, as the substance Y' to be ground, for example, one, pre pared by the batch operation of a model simulating the grinding, drying and classifying mechanism of the grinding machine, is used. |
