Non-caking NH4NO3-containing granules are prepared by cooling hot granules in one fluid bed wherein, in case the starting granules have a temperature >84 DEG C, the granules are cooled to 50-60 DEG C, upon which they are allowed to cool further during storage in bulk, and wherein, in case the starting granules have a temperature </=84 DEG C, the granules are cooled to 32-40 DEG C, thus avoiding the formation of NH4NO3 in crystal modification IV. |
