A positive displacement machine, in particular a cycloidal planetary mechanism with an integrated hydraulic motor, having a housing (1, 2, 3) with connections (31, 32) for the feeding and discharge of pressure medium, having displacement chambers (9) formed by the meshing engagement of a sun wheel (4) in a planet wheel (5) which executes a revolving movement eccentric to the axis (M) of the sun wheel (4). Between the planet wheel (5) and the housing (1, 2, 3) there is a positive connection which prevents rotation of the planet wheel (5) about its own axis (0). A revolving timing element (8) with timing apertures ensures the feeding and discharge of pressure medium to or from the displacement chambers (9). The positive connection between the planet wheel (5) and the housing (1, 2, 3) is preferably formed by bolts (7) which engage in recesses (73) at the front sides of the housing. Since the recesses (73) surround the bolts (7) over their circumference, the rims of the recesses are subjected to low loading, smooth running and low wear thereby being obtained. <IMAGE>
