PURPOSE:To improve the nitric acid resisting property, the radiation resisting property, superhigh air sealing property and heat resisting property which can be satisfied by characteristics of a ceramic coat by forming a ceramic coat on the surface of a metallic O-ring base. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic coat 2 is formed on the surface of a metallic O-ring base 1. The ceramic coat 2 is formed by applying a coating liquid where ceramic aggregate is uniformly kneaded and dispersed in a bonding agent to the surface of the O-ring base 1 to form a film thickness, drying same and further sintering same at need. As ceramic aggregate to be used, favorable is boron nitride which can form a comparative soft coat. |
