1-Amino-, 1-hydrazino- and 1-N-hydroxylamino-3-aryl-7-chloro-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-9(10)-acridones of the formula I <IMAGE> and their physiologically tolerable acid addition salts and quaternary ammonium salts, a process for their preparation, pharmaceutical preparations based on these compounds and their use as chemotherapeutics.
