<p>PURPOSE:To make joint picking-up of composite video signals having good characteristics by allowing the position of a recording element, whose recording is restarted, to coincide with the position of the recording element for recording interruption. CONSTITUTION:A rotary encoder 20 outputs information related to the position of a recording element 19 carried by a carrying body 17 and gives it to a detecting circuit 22. A counted value indicating information of the present position of the recording element 19 is given from the circuit 22 to a comparing circuit 24 and a recorder 23, and the recorder 23 stores the counted value by a latch pulse from a control circuit 10 when the recording operation is interrupted. The circuit 24 compares the counted value of the detecting circuit 22 with the counted value of the device 23 and gives a coincidence output to the control circuit 10 in case of coincidence between them. The control circuit 10 controls carrying of a motor 12 through a control circuit 21, and composite video signals from a signal source 8 are supplied to the recording element 19 through a recording circuit 9 and are recorded on a drum 1.</p> |
