PURPOSE:To enable the stable generation of ink particles even if a slight attachment error is generated at the attachment position of a piezoelectric element, by arranging the plate shaped piezoelectric element, which performs parallel advance motion to the injection direction of a nozzle, in the vicinity of the nozzle in an ink chamber. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric element 10 is perfectly received in an ink chamber 9. The leading end of the piezoelectric element is parallelly moved and the ink between the wall of the ink chamber 9 in a nozzle existing side and the piezoelectric element guides the stream of the ink moving to the circumference to the nozzle direction to allow the ink particles to fly from the nozzle. When the leading end of the piezoelectric element is separated from the nozzle, flow resistance in the direction shown by the arrow 32 becomes small as compared with that in the direction shown by the arrow 33. Therefore, the ink is supplied to the vicinity of the nozzle before air bubbles enter from the nozzle and the chance of air bubbles introduced into the ink chamber is reduced. The positions of a nozzle plate 36 and the piezoelectric element 35 may be set so that the nozzle 37 is overlapped with the piezoelectric element 35 and, even if an assembling error is generated, ink particles can be generated stably. |
