PURPOSE:To obtain a roller elevating apparatus which is compact and does not require the special control and in which a special power means for raising a roller can be omitted, at a low cost, by constituting the apparatus so that the roller can be raised in utilization of the rolling power of the roller. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 13 is revolved normally and a rotary shaft 11 and a gear 18 are revolved in the direction of arrow 30, a correcting roller 23 revolves in the direction of arrow 31 through gears 17 and 22. Then, a brake power is applied between a hollow shaft 20 and a shaft 19 by a rotary damper 21. Therefore, the force for turning an arm 15 in the direction of arrow 32 is applied onto the arm 15 through a shaft 16, and the arm 15 gradually turns in the direction of arrow 32. Then, the arm 15 turns finally to the collision position with a stopper 24. Therefore, the correction roller 23 rises. While, when the correction roller 23 is shifted from a rising position to a lowering position, the motor 13 is revolved reversely, and the rotary shaft 11 is revolved in the opposite direction to the arrow 30. |
