PURPOSE:To prevent increasing of the size of an engine, by enabling to form enlarged chambers in fuel distributors without deteriorating serviceability and assembling work of the engine. CONSTITUTION:Intake air supplied from an air cleaner is carried into enlarged chambers 11, 11 in a surge tank 7 via a main intake passage and distributed to a plurality of independent intake passages 9, 9 from respective enlarged chambers 11, 11. Then, the intake air is supplied to respective cylinders. On the other hand, fuel supplied from a fuel pump to fuel distributors 13, 13 is distributed to a plurality of injectors 12, 12 via common passages 13b, 13b and branch passages 13c, 13c of the two distributors 13, 13 and injected to intake ports 8, 8 of each cylinder. |
