PURPOSE:To increase the capacity of cooling lubricating oil and prevent insufficient lubrication due to the decrease of lubricating oil by a method wherein an expansion chamber, connected to a pre-cooling pipe, is dipped into lubricating oil locally including a commonicating port and a filtrating net is provided in the expansion chamber. CONSTITUTION:The expansion chamber 14c' is connected to a part of the pre- cooling pipe 14', whose both ends are opened at the outside of an enclosed vessel 4, through an inlet pipe 14a' and an outlet pipe 14b', a communicating hole 14d' is provided on a part of the wall of the expansion chamber 14c' and the expansion chamber 14c' is submerged into the lubricating oil 13 locally so as to include the communicating hole 14d' while the filtrating net 14e' is provided in the expansion chamber 14c'. According to this constitution, the lubricating oil 13, communicated with the inside of the expansion chamber and forming an oil surface, is cooled directly by low-temperature refrigerant, filling the expansion chamber 14c', to increase a cooling effect while the lubricating oil, separated by the filtrating net 14e', is recirculated into the vessel 4 through the communicating hole 14d' and whereby the insufficient lubrication of the compression mechanism due to the decrease of the lubricating oil may be prevented.
