PURPOSE:To produce non-calcined lump ore which prevents scattering in the stage of charging the same into a blast furnace by adding cement and water to iron ore powder, applying oscillation to said powder to separate and remove air then molding compressively the powder to a flake shape and curing the molding. CONSTITUTION:Cement as a binder is added together with water to iron ore powder to mix therewith hematite, magnetite and other iron ore powders are used for said powder and the powder sized to about <=5mm. is preferable. Portland cement, blended cement, etc. are used for the cement. The cement is added at about 2-8wt% and water at about 4-8wt%. Oscillation is applied to such mixture to separate and remove the air in the mixture and thereafter the mixture is compressively molded to a flake shape having about 6-15mm. thickness by press forming rolls and the molding is cured by steam curing, etc. Then the molding develops strength in short time, has water resistance, has excellent property to be reduced in a blast furnace and maintains the own shape.
