<p>NEW MATERIAL:Monoazo compounds of formula I , wherein R1, R2 are each carboxyl, sulfonamide, anilino, phenoxy, amino, etc.; n is 1, 2. USE:Water, an org. solvent, a surfactant, etc. are mixed with said monoazo compd. to obtain a water-based. recording fluid. Pref. the ingredients are mixed in such a proportion as to give a recording fluid composed of 0.5-30wt% said monoazo compd., 2-50wt% solvent and 40-90wt% water. PREPARATION:A compd. of formula II in the free form, a compd. of R1-H and a compd. of R2-H are condensed in an aq. medium in any order. Alternatively, a compd. of formula III in the free form is condensed with a compd. of formula IVor V in an aq. medium to obtain the desired compd.</p> |
